Frank deLoach Dinosaur Oil Painting

Regular price $350.00

This oil paintings depicts Sue, one of the most complete T-Rex skeletons ever discovered. Sue's skeleton is on permanent display at The Field Museum of Natural History in Chicago, IL. Former dinosaur preparator turned artist, Frank deLoach, was named "artist-on-floor" at The Field Museum in May 2000. For the next three years, he produced many sketches and paintings of Sue.

In January 2002 this 20"X10" oil on canvas painting was completed using a combination of only four colors. Accented in a simple 21.5"X2"X11.5"matte black floater frame, this painting captures the simple beauty of Sue and is a unique piece of Chicago's History.
